A panel of sciences concluded that a 6-mile-wide asteroid that struck Earth at an angle of 90 degrees and a speed of about 12.4 miles per second The asteroid hit Chicxulub, Mexico, with a force one billion times more powerful than the atomic bomb at Hiroshima
The force impact of the crash triggered large scale fires, landslides, earthquakes that measured 10 on the Richter scale, and tsunamis. Debris knocked into the atmosphere clouding the skies, causing a global darkness, and “killing off many species".
strawberry crab discovered off Taiwan

Professor Ho Ping-ho from the National Taiwan Ocean University said the crab resembles a species called Neoliomera Pubescens, that live s in the areas around Hawaii, Polynesia and Mauritius.
However it has a clam-shaped shell about 1 inch wide, which makes it distinct. Image available Here
